RESERVES

Comment to place your claim on a character. Reserved characters will be listed alphabetically with the date of their reserve indicated.

Reserves will remain in place for only one week (7 days). After that time the character will be removed from the reserve list and be available for reserve by another player or simple application. Extensions may be granted in extenuating circumstances.

Many, many apologies— but the reserve on Bilius Weasley has to be removed, I think. T_T

After looking at timelines, Cedrella, who would have been Bilius' mother had he been a Weasley, was born in 1916, which means the birth year of 1926 doesn't make any sense.

And Molly was born in 1949, and I believe the Prewett twins are being apped as first years, and anyone older would just make the age gap a little too much to be reasonable. Lys will look for someone else to reserve! ;_; So so sorry. ♥

Assuming Cedrella, Septimus' wife and Arthur/Bilius' father, was born in 1910, she could be 20 years old in 1930 which is when, for the purpose of this argument, Bilius would be born. She would then be 40 when Arthur was born, which is a dry gap of 20 years, but far from physically impossible. (This also makes the age gap between Cedrella and Charis, her sister in Hogwarts at age 15/16, reasonable.)

Similar logic is being used to explain Gideon and Fabian being at Hogwarts 7 years before their sister is born. Assuming a large gap of time between births, and very young motherhood, these things can slide.

So, in sum, Bilius can be apped but he must have a birthdate of, AT EARLIEST, 1929. No respectable Black girl would get pregnant before the age of 18, but it could be said that she was married by then.

It might be wise to double check this all with Amanda as a player of the immediate family, so I'll direct her attention to this comment.

Of course, this begs the question of if Lys is more interested in apping a Weasley or in apping a seventh year.
